I didn't know there was such a fixed or single speed scene in Cambridge, then riding into town this evening I saw two guys with single speed bikes.

Downstairs at Park street car Park is a bike park and a bike workshop run by an ex-messenger called Rik. He looks a bit like Asterisk the gaul. He can build you wheels, bikes or supply any bits new ,old ,knows everything and rides fixed .He's cheaper than the big stores and can give you proper advise on riding fixed.

Spotted a few fixed wheel bikes in cambridge recently , a white raleigh with white velocitys , An old dark blue framed something ? I'm usually sitting on my pitch selling a lip ring to a largish group of hyperactive italian exchange students.

HI guys wondered if anyone knows where i can can any peugeot bike parts from. I need a new seat post and it seems to be smaller than average. It measures approx 23mm from the outside metal part to the other side (if that makes sense). Any ideas?

Ok so I saw three fixed gears over the weekend but one I saw stood out parked outside The Portland Arms, light metallic blue with a nice old Brooks saddle. There's always a black hand painted bike near The Picture House on St Andrews Street. Seen a pastel coloured bike on Hills Road as well with matching wheels...
