• Dont get me started on Dolan....

DW

seriously Don, what's up with Dolan? Ribble are doing a black alu track frame for £117 - about the same price as a decent pair of forks over here.

• .

• And it's not that long since Terry Dolan was advertising his jigs in Cycling Weekly - I posted it on here somewhere - so perhaps he no longer has need of them...

• ;) I'm thinking about testing my Mad brazing Skillz (erk.) Always after half decent tubes.

In which case, you're welcome to it. Where do you live?

• I used to have a Dolan and they are decent enough bikes, didn't do Chris Foy any harm either.

Don, he's a scouser, he'd've ripped you to shreds! ;-)

• Eh! Eh! Eh! Calm Down! Calm Down!

• Watch it! I was born in Liverpool! ;-)

• In which case, you're welcome to it. Where do you live?

here and there. Mainly in Kings X or Edgware road, I can collect from anywhere around London. Where are you?

.... and Thanks very much. :)

• .

• By scouser he's referring to the gentlemans birthplace of Liverpool. They come with a certain reputation; which I won't go into here!

Anyway Walkersan, my moneys always on the Scottish in a fight.......

It would take a homicidal maniac in a claymore and a kilt to get the better of me! Blackadder The Third!!

• Looks pretty nice and at a pretty good price too. Thought you were going to get a steel frame though?
;)

• vertical dropouts :(

My max bid was more than double that! Steel wasn't really a requirement I don't think. It doesn't have brazed on slidey gear lever things, but I've been down Evans and reckon a set of Deore MTB shifters will go onto the Profile Airwings. I hope the indexing is right, even though they will be on a racer instead of an MTB! Anyone know?

• vertical dropouts :(

Yep - this one is for the geared bike.

I saw one of those £199 Lidl SS (that other thread) on Gumtree yesterday and was due to go pick it up tonight. But, having read that other thread, I decided against it. It's got me a bit hooked on this whole fixie thing though. So, now that it looks like I'm gonna have my commuting weapon back again pretty soon, I think I'm gonna embark on another little project. ;-)
