I checked out the Sigma wireless in a LBS but after all the trouble they've gone to making the unit look good (alright anyway) they've constructed the naffest huge mount with a big round knob hanging off it for the bars/ stem and a wireless sender larger than the unit itself.
Use Velcro! :)

i used to have one of these...
teamed up with...which equalled 57mph... the frequency of the light flashing interfered with the speedo. Anybody else experienced this?

I hit 86kph on the Whitehorse Challenge. That's the fastest I've gone in the UK.
The one above goes to 60mph/96kph which should cover me, at least anywhere near London :)
How fast are where did you go faster?

i had one of these:
the digital display had an old-school needle style (like a car speedo etc) along with the digits, it was ace. -

Fuck me ! that is around 53.5 miles per hours !!! the fastest I have ever been on a bike was just over 40 mph - and that was going down hill and was pretty hairy.

The first time I hit 50mph was the exact moment I decided that I needed some kind of eye-wear whilst cycling :*(

not exact same model or make but same effect, but had two speeds, 16mph on flash, and 24mph on single beam. ended up mounting them on opposite ends of the bars. also i have found that when track standing, if the sensors cross continually, i can reach speeds of up to 68mph, which is impressive.

Still for sale, it is brand new, never mounted on a bike, still boxed etc etc.
It cost me £39.99 - how about £25 ?
I probably have the receipt around here somewhere as well (from CycleSurgery)
I also have a brand new (used for 1 day or so) Garmin 205 - have a looky here (Post N°49 to save you searching): http://www.londonfgss.com/thread2266.html#post164578

I'll try to decipher that and answer: 95kph, outside Melbourne.
Here's an old ride report from the loop we used to do..
http://thehippy.net/nucleus/index.php?itemid=300Not my comments and the max speed for the day..
"No downhill speed runs this week because 1) I notice my brakes have almost NO pad left and in the wet, they simply don't work! and 2) I seemed to have rubbed something into my left eye and spend half the ride tearing up - blurry vision not so good for riding fast (couldn't see through glasses so they were off for the duration of the ride)."- Speed: 27.5/87.3kph (avg/max)*
87kph not trying in the wet, half blind. :)

Yep all true,a very discreet bit of kit....Tiny transmiter too.
