Yep, there was a small flicker of life, but it doesn't seem to want to put out any real power, oh well, chucked the inverter in the bin, they are only a few quid anyhow and I have a few others.

'twas a great evening. I was surprised the turnout was actually less than last year - but I guess that without the Tour de France it wasn't promoted so well. Really good to see Jos racing - man those guys were fast. And good to see Thomas winning too - his appearance wasn't just for show.

It was good to see the way Thomas won as well, none of this sprint finish nonsense. He was in that breakaway group, then tried to cycle away from them with about 6 laps to go - taking one rider with him, and finally he headed off on his own at the beginning of the final lap.
