This is looking like fail beers.
I'll just go to LMNH and drink overpriced continental lager.

Going to go buy a carbon seatpost at Condor and then ride (woot!) down to LMNH to meet up with Wayno later. If anyone wants to meet up, drop me a message.

I have just opened up a bar / music / events venue, and would love to get on the "beers" circuit! Is there currently a central beers happening elsewhere? We are located on 36-38 new oxford street WC1A 1EP so prime location for people on their way home, or who live in the area. Here is a viewlondon review of the place..

Our website is www.thebowerylondon.co.cuk, and www.facebook.com/thebowerylondon
Anyone up for it??

The old Fly? Good luck with that... very strange layout!

I reckon the reviews on that website are fake.

loads of bike parking space

It was a shit space when it was the fly though.
It was like drinking in a concrete box, waiting for death or something. Down stairs was crap for music because there was a huge pillar rendering the whole stage only visible to about 20% of people in there.
I'd rather the Crown just up the road personally. You can't beat a bit of Sam Smiths!

I'm intrigued to see if this guy posts again.
Maybe he'll offer free beer to anyone with a spoke card.

No freebies, but 2-4-1 Sagres, and house wine between 5-7pm, only if you present your bike at the bar though

Nothing like a bit of bad publicity!
-

oh yeah, call me a dick'ead, it's more likely that I'll walk the extra 50 yards to your pub.
Did you remove the massive weight loading pillar in the basement or is that still there?
-

Before you get told to wind your neck in, re read fourteenwinter's post:
"It was a shit space when it was the fly though"
But you've painted the bad indie venue feel out of it.
What's your deal on offering it to us as a monthly (weekend) club night?
-
• #796
The pillar is still there unfortunately as it is structural. Its a hell of a lot nicer than when it was the fly though!

On principal I will never go to this pub now.

Come on mate, don't be like that. All dick'eads welcome...

I don't even like lager so 2 for 1 sagres is lost on me.
As a Soho boy the only thing worse than fitzrovia is bloomsbury!
