  • RPM did ask me some odd questions about donut hole diameter..

  • Singletracks arrived today and just been out for a quick spin with them on and they're ace. I wasn't sure what the fabric was going to be like, since it said Cordura and the only thing I've got that's Cordura is my PAC... didn't really want to be wearing shorts made of that! But it's a lot lighter, very comfy. The fit is just right too. I'm a 32" waist and the small fit well with the belt tightened a tiny bit (they sizes are completely wrong; I should be a medium apparently). I'll post a review after a few weeks.

Ta to all those who offered opinions :)

edit: and wiggle chucked in a free bottle opener :)

  • i really rate the swrve 3/4 shorts!

i think they are great but......pockets are shite, my change pocket now has holes :(

  • Just as a quick update, my stuff came through from Swrve in the US, no tax or extra charges to be paid, took about 2 weeks from ordering to delivery. To warn you, they use Parcel Farce for the UK leg of the journey. They marked value down for me and didn't include receipts in the bag. Really very pleased with what they sent, looks like great stuff, nice cut, good on the bike and off, highly recommended!

  • try with any basketball stuff... i mean they r perfect for summer situation, and pretty resistant but most of all they give u styleeeeeee :D...
    yeah.

  • I'm thinking of getting some baggy shorts for commuting. I tried the 3/4 Endura but they felt too bulky and heavy. Thinking about these

and wondering if anyone's tried them or got any suggestions.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread. Did a search and couldn't find any other threads on this specific topic.

  • jim
those shorts look like they have a well bad fit !
get some usa combats, ripstop, dessert tan, cut off and wear with lycra padded cycle shorts.

  • I disagree, i like the cut - they are tight from the waist down so the material doesn't gather round your waist and have a bit of give around your thighs where you need it - the only draw back is the length, those 3/4 lengths would rub the tops of your calves.

the other up side is the lined gusset, for not other reason than i get to type the word gusset.. twice in fact.

Combats and riptops are pretty heavy material.. fkr when wet!

  • try these.

    to match your sandles...

    ;)

  • these are nice and light over the top of cycling shorts

the best pair i ever had where Gravity cargo shorts, but they don't sell them any more. the material was a lite nylon but they only lasted a year before the gusset wore out. the material is too lite weight to stitch back. pisser!

  • i did some spear gun fishing at the weekend and rode there and back (20~ miles) in my wetsuit. bad idea. i got super hot on the way there, and they way back i felt super heavy.

ive got a bunch of enjoy shorts that are great to ride in once ive rolled them up quite a bit. theyre not proper cycling shorts, but i find them very comfortable as long as theyre rolled up higher than normal.
