It's just a stripped down and light theme. Should work in almost any device. Colours are a little crap though I'll admit.

To be honest, I had no problems using it as it was, but this might be quicker for 3G and Edge.

this theme makes browsing the forum on an ipad pretty damn bad, anyway to revert to normal version of the ipad?

Turn off mobile phone version of the site in your settings... You have to do this from a non-mobile device tho'...

This does indeed work, however you are then stuck with the full version on the iphone.

Should one want to have the mobile version on the iphone and full version on an ipad, then I understand the server settings need to be updated to recognise the ipad browser as non monile device.

Obviously such a request would imply that the poster was owner of too many apple products.

Apple can push what they want. No porn, no multitasking, no flash, possibly no tabs(?)... I would say iPad is a total fail if it wasn't for the zillion fanboys who've bought one already.

I really wanted one for reading pdfs and taking notes, but it just seems silly to spend so much money on such a crippled device. And who knows if I can even do that with it! Steve Jobs may be against note taking. Fascist bastard.

Don't want to seem like a fanboy but iPhone (and therefore iPad) OS 4.0 supports full multitasking (releasing next week). Mobile Safari has always had tabs. The new HTML 5 demos that are up on the Apple site today look reall promising so i wouldn't worry about flash and porn will find a way. It always does.

The only thing that is stopping me is the price. £400+ starting price. No thanks.

2 comlpaints which aernt massive are that all posts just come up with a time when they are posted rather than a date as well or a how long ago, which would make following threads easier.

second is that when you click on a topic is takes you to the first page of the thread, rather than your last read point or last post, both of which would be better.
