Swobo do some proper cycling jeans (well knickers) out of my price range but still very nice. there is also also a shop in islinton that do these 3/4 length carhart looking slack, not denim but that american working apperel looking stuff.. does that make sense? looks like the kind of hard wearind trouser you get from mole valley farmers.. with me?
ah ha - here it is... fking daper!

Exactly.
Endura Singletrack shorts for riding, jeans in bag. Then I can wear whatever I want without worrying about wearing a giant hole on the arse/crotch. £60-70 Levis are a bit out of my tiny student price range, haha :)

They're great - is scrot rot a problem with cotton underwear or cycling shorts underneath?
Or are you implementing commando tactics...?

Levi's Twisted jeans. Still the best jeans I've ever owned.
Skullhead - is that still from KES as your logo?

Don't buy cheap unless vintage / 2nd hand.
Primark are cheap because of their infamous use of child labour.
Don't support it.I've rode everyday in Levi's, Edwin, and Lee.
My black Lee straightlegs were £55. Had them for over 4 years and they're only just starting to come apart.
I have some straightleg Edwins in black too which have a very slight stretch and a moleskin finish!
Best yet.

Are you speaking about moskito bikes?
If not, which one it is? I interested -

Get some jeans, chop the bottom off and use the bottom to put a seamless gusset (is that the word?) in the seat of the trousers so you're not sitting on the seams when you ride. That's what I did.
Best done with cheap trousers!

I'm a big fan of Gap jeans and levis.

No! Not Gap!!! More child labour.
For any of you who may be in need of cheapish quality denim,...
The Fixed mag launch on Saturday is at the Carhartt warehouse outlet in London Fields.
They have a lot of their jeans on sale alongside Edwin Jeans.
Sometimes a hidden gem. They will be still be open during the first hour of the party...

Primark are cheap because of their infamous use of child labour.
Don't support it.Oh come on, pretty much all the major labels/fashion houses use dubious (i.e. child or poorly regulated - equals child) third-world labour. The only difference is that cheap shops like Primark don't put a massive markup on the goods afterwards. At least they're being honest about it!
carhartt are fantastic. They're real long lasting and tough and they actually do just plain jeans, none of this faded or torn bollox. I like their skinny-ish jeans, theyre not as skinny as emo or indy kid jeans.
