slamm nice film. Yes, mighty good message at the end... if you haven't done one, do one! I was scared I couldn't make Southend but it was a piece of piss, especially the small hills we encountered ;) ... What a lovely route that looked, I'm a sucker for an English country road.

i know it's not a race but does anybody hold a wheel on these rides? 9mph average speed seems a bit slow?
before other plans stopped me going i thought getting back to london for 7ish would have been easily done (including 2hrs in a pub garden with chips/beer)

leave 10am 5hours on the road arrive 3-3.30, 2 hours in pub on a train 6ish hour later in london?
