    Bet he isn't.

  • Sorry buddy - it was for the Tweed Run. I didn't think it was your cup of rosie!

Next time I'm in town I'll defo PM you beforehand.
Duly rescinded. That was a good call on your part.

  • you can get all of those things in edinburgh

    Lemonade - Where -

If you know a place I'm all ears.

I moved up here with a girl, it went tits up but I like my job so I stayed, now I have a new girl that has set a firm two bike limit in the flat we share.

Yes it is cold... cold as hell... everyone keeps saying this winter won't be as bad as the last but they say that every year.

  • bump

  • No but i did eat some mushrooms on the beach yesterday and watched seagulls.

This all just seems a little bit extreme. This forum has some fucking ace people on it. Proper stand up folk and I fucking miss it.

Remember all that bad shit that happened a year or so ago when the forum went into temporary meltdown? No? Neither do I.

Ive made awesome friends on here, benefited from the work of the cycle advocacy folk who post regularly, the trainers, the clowns, the fund raisers... memorial rides, that girl in the states who lost her sight, aroogahs thread about his back is awesome, bodeans and fucking millions of beers, lots more hugs than im comfortable with, talked to some girls, did lots of riding, mocked polo, didnt piss in any pints at SE's or get fucked in any games of bike, that guy who called you typical english fuckwits, food thread, baby blue fixies, jesus... guinness rides, bridges, swains, GSIAD, doin skids, crumble runs, photo posters, LMNH, compass rides, stayin flashy, getting stooged in loads of rounds, reading about the easter egg run, portuguese nosh, gooch, not leaning, watching the tour at the C&H, fucking everything...

The recent flouncers are quality folk... but toughen up you fucking crybabies.
I miss this guy! Epic win post.

I really do love the people on this forum.

  • What?!?! Im in the right thread you punk!

    :-)

When you back TS? Did you see Balki over there?

  • TS never left London.

He just told you that so you'd stop pestering him, and sill meets up with forumengers regularly in secret meetings you're not invited to.

I've even been to a couple, and we laugh and laugh and laugh and have so much fun.

I'm sorry, but someone had to tell you.

  • Wasn't really unconditional love was it?

    Very very funny. Thank you.

  • Wasn't really unconditional love was it?

Well, I think it was. You hadn't joined the forum at the time of the OP, but I seem to remember the sentiment being sincere.

I suppose it depends on whether you think unconditionality needs to include the future in its entirety, or whether it's valid as a concept which encompasses only the past and up-to-the-minute present. If you insist on the former, then I'd have to disagree, as I reckon that's 'undying love'.

I couldn't possibly echo the original statement today, but only because the forum is now massive, and I don't have that much love to go round, despite my internet behaviour being fairly slatternly.

  • hi

  • Fuck you all, I still love this place unconditionally and im not hearing otherwise!!!

You too? "Not enough love to go round blah blah"

That's more or less what mum said.
