Ved - Can't do this week as I'm away for work, will defo come next week. Is it a footy boot job or are we on da afroturf?
-
• #145
Dov - Its astroturf I wear my old running shoes so its fine. We'll be there same time the following Monday then.
Its a very easy going group of peeps no agro and no dodgy tackles. You'll get a good run around tho!

for easts there is an astro at stoke newington school, there is a hole in the fence and me and my mates have been climbing in there for years, ever since i went to the school infact. does that sound cool with people? thats N16.
-
• #148
fine for me. anyone from east happy to start playing any evening this week?
-
• #149
Yeah, would be happy with footy in a park.
PS We won our semi-final on Sunday, 2-0. Final is a week on Sunday. Come on the mighty Southborough!!
do you seriously play for southborough? that is amazing
i'd be up for souths football if someone decided definitely on a location

I've been thinking about this loads recently and am thousand% up for it. Surely there are loads of free to use enclosed/fenced five-a-side pitches where you don't have that issue of the really crap players not understanding the limitations of the game wanting to hammer the ball in the "net" from 1 yard out meaning everyone waiting for someone to get the ball out of the dog shit infested bushes where the middle aged men are feltching?
and breathe
do we have to play on grass fellas. what's wrong with a bit of the old blacktop? i don't really mind though. will dig out my old Adidas World Cup 2000 (moulded studs ftw!)
