'..but you can roll it in glitter' is the 'witty' response I'm used to.

tynan, here is a question for you, how to make a chain move in flash?
i can rotate the cranks and wheels with ease, just dont know how to do the chain, any ideas?
I don't know my way around flash, but there are probably a number of way to do this (?)
If you can send an object along a path - like an image of a aeroplane flying along a path - then make a single chain link - animate it moving along a path (in this case the path would be around the chainring and sprocket) - then duplicate that layer of animation - and then offset (temporally) that duplicated 2nd layer so it lags behind the first link - then another - and then another - until you have a whole moving chain.
This is how I would do it - as it would be a simply bit of animation then a bit of duplication.
But like I say I don't know how this would work in flash. (??)

The public prosecutor made no recommendations to the court - and the judge just gave me 6 months probation.

If you can send an object along a path . . . . .
Kinda works . . . a bit crude but you get the idea - the first white link I animated, the rest of the links are the same animation but started a fifth of second later for each link.

How many designs will be chosen? Or is it just the numero uno?
-
• #144
As it stands it looks like I'll make 75 (10S, 50M, 10L, 5XL) of these:
And maybe 40 of these (5S, 20M, 10L, 5XL):
Colours to be determined, style of shirts to be determined.
But that's as it stands.

• #145
yay! but is there a size chart for the shirts?

Isn't there an additional stage which is where the winning t shirt designer gets the opportunity to work with some more design focused bods to improve on the original concepts (if desired)?
-
• #147
No, but I'll work out how to get samples and I know I'm a medium and we'll work from there.

Yes. Hence my disclaimer about sizes and styles not being determined.
I'm guessing we need higher quality artwork too... so that means a stage in which the artwork is adjusted for the intended printing.

Cool. I think this is was a great idea- just hope we make some money out of the end of it.
But you can squeeze it into a different shape.
