Yeah, you can legally do 14 years old girls.
-
• #7755
I though this was what 15 yo do.
Unless you're on of those who 'd do the mum first. -
• #7756
I need a lay down... you made me dizzy EEI.
-
• #7757
Why? They're having fun..
I mean, what harm can these people be? Jumping off cliffs? That's Win-Win...
You lot need to get busy.No man, it's retarded. If they we're just having fun it'd be grand but they're trying to make out that building a fort is like fucking 'pay it forward' or something. Building a fort will not make the world a better place. Nor will it open a dialog with those around you or any of the other crap they say it will do. Essentially they've taken something fun and turned it into over intellectualized, self aggrandising twaddle.

And no, sorry buddy, I don't agree.
I read your post as your own opinion, which is absolutely fine.
Far from being logic to me though. Sorry to disappoint. -

Agreed! Forts are amazing for yourself and those involved but they've taken the idea and put it through some kind of pseudo-intellectual/hippy bullshit machine.
There's a fort in my garden right now, it's awesome, and people come over and hang out in it, but you'd never catch me talking about it as if I've just invented a revolutionary new way of life.
-
• #7761
Not disappointed. Of course it's just my opinion, I certainly wouldn't expect everyone to agree.
Btw 'Pay it forward' was a film based on the concept that if one person undertook to extend a random act of kindness to three people and then each of those three people did the same thing to three others and so on, eventually everyone would be helping each other and it would make the world a better place. A pretty good idea but a mediocre film. -
• #7762
They are all pretty good looking though. Suspiciously so.

You just did. On a public Forum.

Scousers do that on a daily basis.

Stand corrected here. Thank you, must see it then.
So I can bitch about it ;).Not disappointed. Of course it's just my opinion, I certainly wouldn't expect everyone to agree.
What I don't agree with your post, is the way you say "...it's retarded...", "...Essentially they've taken something fun and turned it into over intellectualized, self aggrandising twaddle..." and "...If they we're just having fun it'd be grand...".
There's no way you can be sure they're not having fun, i would.
Retarded, maybe. But so is to build bikes, post them online and expect people to praise you because of it.
And for last, if we all agree that building forts can be something pleasant to do with your time, even if their intentions are
over intellectualized, self aggrandising twaddle, I'm fucking glad they've done it. When was the last time we spoke about
building forts, or even admitted to do it. They look nothing but middle-upper-class-more-money-than-talent examples of young humans,
but at least their focus is far from harmful... who fucking cares, at least they're not shooting smack up their veins.
Makes me sad that people building forts and jumping off a cliffs (and I don't care if they're wearing unprescripted specs), are called retarded (which they are,
in a good way), but a bunch of guys naming themselves "Jackass" get famous for being absolute dicks, proper examples of human decay. And not funny BTW.[/not a rant at you HT ;)]

You're a Hipster. Deal with it.
-
• #7769
I am liking nuknow's armchair philosophy. That is all.
-
• #7770
Of course you're right Nuknow, they're not hurting anyone at all (which is the main thing) but to be fair neither have most of the people pictured on this thread (bar any 5th floor bullies). Believe me, it's just my crotchety old age showing, that I find these people intolerably annoying. What's even odder is that I'm probably a hairs breath away from being someone that could appear on this thread and as an ex-art student in my day i was guilty of far worse 'self aggrandising twaddle'. I honestly don't know what my problem is (not joking)
-
• #7771
;D I know, I did art school too.

Friend lives just around the corner from that place. Apparently to get in you do a secret knock on the front door and then they let you in at the side
