The Beach Boys can fuck off though
Beach boys can fuck off.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
listen to Smiley Smile or even Smile live by Brian Wilson.....
its deeply moving, sincere, honest, passionate, intelligent, musically mature and complex, profoundly sad and introvert one minute and joyously rebellious another. This music is uncompromisingly inspired, its challenging yet very accessible; if you were in the least bit discerning you'd hear a depth that is so rare and beautiful.
The Beach Boys are phenomenal, inspired and inspiring, talented and genre-creating.
if you seriously hate the Beach Boys then i believe your ears are full of shit.

+1 hauska
Some of the beach boys stuff is just SO GOOD. God only knows makes me feel all funny too. But I never listen to 60's bands playing their music now, its always so shit. The zombies are perhaps my favourite band, and they were touring this year. But my god, old man zombies just sounded so wack.

'Paul Smith' makes for a good Spoonerism = 'Smaul Pith'.

Cleats in the corridors and on the ramp!!
Dear oh dear, pro cyclists really do have to do some demeaning things to earn a crust don't they?
BTW, that's not the correct way to ride off on the track, notice how half of them, despite being professionals, had trouble getting their other feet clipped in? I suppose the 'director' decided it would be more 'dramatic' to have them in a line like a road race.

Looks like they had a ruddy good day of riding!

Lovely story from Popbitch many years ago. Brian Wilson arrives at recording studio complex, commandeers himself a little project studio with multitrack recording and a decent vocal mic. He is more than somewhat odd, and perhaps a little malodorous. The staff humour him because he's, you know, him. He spends several days in the little studio, just singing single notes one at a time into many, many tracks and bouncing them down. No playback, just shuttle tape, sing note, bounce down and repeat. The staff humour him because, you know, it's him. He's obviously a bit cracked, but he's harmless.
After several days of this, he finally plays back the recording. A vast, mind-bogglingly complex vocal harmony which is extremely beautiful. Which he obviously had in his head when he first walked in, so clear that he never needed to reassure himself during the recording of it. Just get it on tape before the inspiration fades. And it's perfect, first time.
Legend.

I thought it was going to be an advert for whatever it is they're drinking from those bottles.
I was surprised by the lack of skids, just saw one I think?

I generally find that lions are easier than tigers. They're like the sluts of the cat world.
Indeed - Killer!
