I find F1 dull as ditchwater but it's ridiculous to write off Hamilton as untalented. Hundreds of people around the world trained from childhood to get his job, in a sport where results are worth millions to all involved. I doubt he just lucked into it.

Unfortuntely we live in an age where it is easier to snub success rather than respect it. Even if he dresses like an Estate Agent and comes across as a little bit single minded. He still pips Germans to the post in their technology. This has to be admired. Just a little. 😎

We should also remember that Lewis is the only black F1 driver in what has long been a rich white man’s sport.

Stevenage ain’t Compton, but what he’s achieved is pretty bloody astonishing when you look at the history of the sport.

Yeah, he's the best out of 'hundreds'. It's a massively elitist sport hardly anyone can try. Most F1 drivers are only there because they have bought their way in.
