i went a few years ago with some yuppie types (compared to me) on the fellas new 'sloop', we got stuck in a jam packed canal near the amstel, and all the other boats were banging and people jumping on and off his boat, the yuppies were in pieces but i found it funny and was offering our stowaways seats and drinks, the jam happened just before the bridge in the distance

rotterdam has better clobber shops than 'dam, and has more of a creative/edgy atmosphere imho, antwerp has the most creative feel out of the three, poss due to the design school
