@Velocio Email notifications seem to have stopped for me or should I say are very sporadic at best. Got one at 12:11 today but didn't seem to get any notices before that since May 12th 8pm.

Yup, @Soul let me know.

It's fully resolved now, but emails from around 11pm on the 12th to around 30 minutes ago were not sent.

I'm now monitoring, and everything is fine... emails are going through and people are reading them.

Same what? I do not see what you're replying to... so am not sure which issue is affecting you.

Yep, I get the same error when trying to view my messages, been like this for about an hour...

Fixed it.

Appears that memcached got itself muddled up and slightly corrupted.

This might be already mentioned dozens of ties but I would love a mouse-over-preview of the original message, when posting a Reply. Now that the forum software does not include original message in reply the readability, at least for me, went down a lot.

Click "Reply" next to a message.

Then the compose box is immediately below the message you are responding to.

Additionally, when displaying the message we can show a link to the comment the response is for.

The Reply link for this message is just down here ---->

hmm I think I was a bit unclear. I mean when scrolling down a topic and there is for example a post by

XXX -> in reply to @edscoble
"yeah best bike on this page"

i mean when I read that particular comment and hover mouse over the "in reply to" it would be wonderful if a hower over box would display automatically the original message, without me having to click it and open a new page.

I can't tell if you are misunderstanding him or her on purpose or not, but I'll bite:

When someone else on a thread posts a reply to a previous comment, but neglects to quote that to which they are replying, it is a bit non linear and confusing to subsequent readers of the thread.

It would be helpful and, in fact, wonderful, if instead of clicking on the "in reply to" link, we could just hover the mouse and see a little tooltip-style pop up of the comment which is being replied to.

As an agile user story:

In order to be able to read threads quickly and easily, following the flow of replies but not having to navigate away from my current view,
As a thread reader,
I want a tooltip style hover over box that displays the replied-to comment for any comments that are replies.

But how will I ever know what a post is in reply to if a person hasn't clicked the reply button?
