Don't go there - it'll never be the same. You'll wander into M&S, with a feeling of abstract hopefulness. Out of the corner of your eye you see a familiar packaging - yes, yes it's them - definitely them. You smile as you hand them to the cashier - regailing her with your tale of granny-biscuits and childhood innocence. As you walk out the store, you can't help but whip one out of the bag for a cheeky munch. As you bite into it, something's not quite right. Not as sugary, not as flavoursome - simply not as nice. The disappointment takes over, your day ruined, and then you die - die in an inky black well of despair. The police break down your door a week later, to find you curled up in bed, with the biscuits by your side, a framed picture of your grandma nestled lovingly in your arms, with the watermarks of tears cried in equal measures of shame and sadness dried onto your face.
Don't go there my friend - don't go there.
excellent

I said off the peg biscuits!
British packet biscuits are so boring, and any efforts manufacturers have made to innovate has led to sickly sweet affairs (fox biscuits=puke)
Out of your regular cheap off the peg packet biscuits, I think american ones are way better than british. But then places like italy have way better still.
shut up!! wanker

Dark chocolate digestives that have been in the fridge beat all biscuits ever. They are the best full stop. You can have a couple, or you can eat a hole pack of them.......tasty

I'm quite a fan of the fruit shortcake biscuits. They don't sound the best but they're amazing. Nice and simple tasty biscuits with raisins in and sugar on top. Yum

Hobnobs taste different :-(
I picked up a packet from the supermarket and bought them, thinking 'yum, these'll be nice with my cuppa in the workshop' only to realise that they are now "made with 50% less saturated fat, but same great taste".
They taste shit.
I'm not impressed and I think the only way I will be able to enjoy Hobnobs is by getting the chocolate coated ones (not as good for dunking though). But maybe that's their plan. Make the biscuit taste worse so that you buy the more expensive one.
One is not amused.

Not strictly a biscuit, but those Nature Valley Granola Bars are just lush - particularly the Apple flavour......

I think I've just found my new favourite buscuit! Fox's Crinkles Classic crumbly honeycomb buscuits topped with milk chocolate. Yum or what?!
I went out on a limb here because I've never tried them before and the packaging doesn't do them much justice. If you've never tried them then go out and buy a packet!

The only thing missing from this biscuit (courtesy of Daveypants from t'other thread) is the letters 'F', 'T' and 'W'.
