I second that, it's not the ritz but I have stayed there the last 2 years and it's been great both times. Also it's near shake shack so you can always have an excuse to nip there on the way back to the hotel to get a burger

There's one in East Village and Brooklyn.
You can get some cheap ass apartments on Craigslist, might be a better and cheaper option?
