the ride ends at the Oxo Tower, which is, shall we say, a little swanky, and may not be happy to be invaded by a bunch of scruffy riding ne'erdowells. however, don't worry about it - i reckon, that just like the post Australia Day ride, we will find somewhere a little more conducive - possibly even the university bar we went to last time. yee haw

Also I tattoo a few LU train drivers who are always telling me about crazy shit that nobody seems to know about so I'll try to tap them up for some info for future rides.
Incidental I have always wondered where the abandoned tunnel next to Highgate tube ends.

that right there is a good enough reason to buy us a small infalteable raft for the ride.

is the path up behind essex road the thin paved one next to the park which has the big bumps you can't see? first couple of times i went down there i got propperly bounced out of the saddle, once into a burnt out moped, lovely area.
could be quite fun for a load of people who don't know the path to hit it at speed in the dark, though i may have spoiled it..............
