I haven't ridden a bike for 13 days. FACT.

I was booting it down Brixton Road this morning when I felt a weird clunk come from the non-drive side, pretty much slowed the rest of my journey in... Couldn't spot anything wrong with it roadside so ploughed on in a much more leisurely fashion... Really glad I did, it made for a much more enjoyable cycling experience and I wound up bumping into balki when I was getting near the Isle of Dogs... The ride home was similar, felt a bit more confident that the bike was OK so caned it down Brixton Road again before popping in to see JimBilly and checking on the black bar-taped Colnago of Death (with some pink and blue bits)...
So, anyway... Were you two ladies on public transport again today?
Sorry i think i cursed your bike

[o:O]Bernie has turned all geeky.[/o:O]
Ha ha, if only. Rather the computer illiteracy has reached a new level of awfulness.
PLEASE don't grass me up to Matt. He is just back from uni, and would be seriously unamused....

I liked the van :]
I liked getting the freewheel removed off the old wheel for my super-hack "I ain't worth stealing" bike.
So thanks to lynx for coming out of his way to help me out with that. And for Ed for helping hold the wheel still while we struggled. And to the other chap whose name I don't recall for pointing out that it wasn't reverse threaded and we needed to wind the other way. ;-)

hahaha has lynx been banned now?
what happened. someone PM plez.
-
• #8885
huh? I just looked and couldn't find him on the 'members list' or whatever.
-
• #8886
cos he iz banned.
-
• #8887
Why?
-
• #8888
I dont know, thought it might have something to do with this thread though...
-
• #8889
I would guess it would be the comment about wishing hoops was in hospital, but who knows
-
• #8890
I reported him for that. It was out of order.
-
• #8891
I agree, it was a particularly nasty comment
-
• #8892
sigh of relief

• #8893
I've obviously missed like ALL the shit that's occurred. I just looked at his profile and saw a message from cliveo saying "Was it necessary to start a child porn thread?"
WTF?
-
• #8894
he a troll.
-
• #8895
Who, cliveo?
-
• #8896
Yes, he is.
But he isn't a totally awful person, just a guy with some issues. I'm really tired of every thread on the forum turning into a "let's get a dig in at Lynx" thread. He's not that bad, he has some annoying habbits, and it looks like he is here to stay for a while (assuming that the ban is temporary).Let's try and just deal with the situation like adults, not like elementary students.

• #8897
Did he really start a kiddy porn thread???
-
• #8898
kind of... but not quite as bad as that
-
• #8899
Nonce!
