Coming from SE into the headwind of doom the only thing that kept me grinning was the thought of running home, spinnaker set (or jacket as it's also known) at 47mph.

I've a pair of 3t Pista bars you can try with a view to buying. I won't have them tonight though.

Are you even allowed to change the bars on the hire bikes?!? Pretty sure you can only change the pedals...

I'm sure if you made sure you returned it with the right bars they'd let you do it.

Do they have front loading a-head stems?

If so I would not see it as being a big issue.

and yes you can change the bars, they just have to make sure i've "put them on properly" and give them back the old ones.
