Good night last night, enjoyed the honorable bike thievery junior hacksaw action, and the wierd drunken lady commanding trackstands from the boys, before being 'led away' by her husband
oh and Reece's Pieces and talk of giant M&M's and malteser blow football.
Also enjoyed my ride home with the EPIC light, I was burning retinas of car drivers all the way home.
Bright Times! -

Bright Times! If her husband had arrived a bit earlier he might have been startled to see her snogging the face off the girl who's bike was freed. They were really pissed weren't they??

no murts, they were actually having a massive snog while SH was hacksawing the lock off..it was a bit showy and they didn't get the reaction I think they were looking for from us - we were too busy discussing chainring bolt diameters - but they did look like "an item", to use the parlance of RPM's times.
The guy who dragged trackstand gal off looked weary and long-suffering, poor geezer.
The other girl was even weirder if you ask me.

SH - 110 a bit short but do check - i have a 110 already and need a 120. i know 10mm ain't much but it makes all the difference for my purposed. do double check it dude.
i have got into the habit of only coming to South Beers before going to play football and then not coming back afterwards. though i feel an exception brewing.

Damn! I was going to come after my evening classes and realised that i had left my lights at home so had to leave my bike at work..
So what is it like now? Is it too cold to sit outside? -
• #2170
only if you're a girl.
-
• #2171
Maybe the two young ladies were just trying to keep warm?
-

Blimey, I miss one evening and it descends into all male baiting frottage. I saw lots of weeping people in town if that makes up for it. And appear to have an Aroogah Bright Times for Pajamas CD.
-

Of course the best bit of the evening was waiting 20 minutes for pajamas to pack his bag, roll up his jeans and get ready to leave, before realising he hadn't got his lights on, unpacking to find them and wasting another ten minutes....only then to take no more than 30 seconds to nearly get wiped out at the crossroads with Kings Ave/Bedford Road...which was followed by him remonstrating with one gentle male driver with three elderly female relatives, by wagging his finger and stating in a quite chilling way "you swerved on purpose".
-
• #2174
Personally I thought it was less chilling and more treating the driver like an idiot dog - "down boy. Naughty boy".

you've got me laughing out loud at work the both of you...I guess it was a mix of them - kind of Barbara Woodhouse on two wheels..
he did seem to be taking out a cyclist in Grand Theft Auto or something though.. I'd have been unnerved if I hadn't had a couple of pints.
I'll be there and need a burger buddy! Jonny its been forever, will be nice to see you!
