• are you OK ritchie? after your clatter down the steps I feared for your chances of getting home unscathed

By this stage I was shaking my head and muttering. That was a big old crash down my stairs. And apologies to PJ for (in hindsight) as I'd forgotten it was his last drinks.

BRM, I'm still in for the long game but that cash is mine I tells you. Thursday stalking plans still afoot.

• aw, c'mon, I'm worth more than 15 quid, surely!

My offer was going to be 20 and dinner at the same time (and I'm not talking 2-4-1 burger!)...

• I'm blaming hippy for this

• Thank you to chris, rob, pj and hillbilly etc., for a great time after, lovely to meet some more people. Am officially loving Souths.. next time burgers no beer. (or so i tell myself!)

• What happened to your wheel?

I stupidly tried to follow build and object through a red light and got taken out by a car on saturday night, hurt shoulder swollen knee, and pancaked the front wheel beyond repair. Hillbilly trued it up as good as possible, but I'm gonna need a new rim.
Anyone got a spare 32 hole rim machined, preferably in red going for small beer?

• I've got one in black, bog standard Alex R500 Corny. Brand New though, I'd want at least meat sweats and a beer..

• ^Bugger! You're essentially ok though? What did the car driver make of it?

• Hung around until after the staff left with Jonny, drinking.. just to make sure I REALLY missed the last Tube.

Then it was 211 different night buses to get home at 3am, soaked. Told you I hate public transport.

Current status: Fucked.
Plan of action: curl up and die, never touching beer again (or until maybe Wednesday).

The Canadian guy who popped in was Weasel of http://www.fearlessgearless.com fame.

South beers goes global!

• hippy did a murtle

• thanks for taking that wheel jonny... and the pipe, what a weird arrangement eh? because i get the pipe and a different wheel back in return.

• it was cool when the manager left and hippy and me were still sipping on the G and beer. he just asked us would we mind turning the table over when we left. the Coach & Horses is becoming legend.

hippy man - i feared for you at the mercy of the night buses. glad you got home. eventually.

no worries skoota. will bring another wheel to south polo tomorrow and get that piping and wheel round to mike at some point. and will get your tennis ball back to ya !

explain yourself dingoBollox??

• Drooooooooooooooooooool. Right, early lunch.

• I missed you guys last night but I was happy to see PJ on my way up to Clapham Common.

We stopped at a light and an old lady came to see PJ and said "thank you very much for stopping. It is so nice to see" or something like that. Most of the other cyclists went through the red lights.

I hope you guys didn't terrorise the lovely French waitress at the C&H.

• Va va voom, you bet we did.
Missed you.

• She is quite mignon.

fNck me. i forgot about that. i was wondering why i had motherfncking sore back and arse.

was pretty great riding at that time of night, even though i was MC HAMMERED.

• hope some of you lot head out west this week

• I had a good time last night. Glad I came. you all made me feel very comfortable. compleatly missed the rain, it was dry all the way to Clapton Pond, then once i was inside it poured it down again... so there.

• Finally got myself over to South Beers. Was good fun and nice to meet a few peeps and put some faces to names. Will try and make it down on a more regular basis!

nonono (amy style) the piping is for me mon amis, wheel for mike, need piping for my clutch of mallets. The waitresses name is amelie and the fact that she is french make her so dreamy.

• Lovely to meet people (and to perve over their bikes) last night. Glad I got away before the pub closed and the heavens opened, but seeing as it only took me about 10 minutes to get home, I think I'll be staying longer next time... :D

• I forgot about walking back towards the station.. this guy was persistent in his asking for money.
I just kept smiling and saying 'nah man' and he just kept on and on.
Eventually he found another few peeps and dived over to them, guess he failed and came back to me and then dived off again to another guy haha poor bugger.

who were you then emilia? bloody hell it was busy last night, didn't meet half these people who are cropping up now. And I network, believe the hype.

Oh yeah I was the guy who got applauded/jeered by the baying hoards as he arrived.

• the waitress has a bit of holy valance looks
