• Ahhhh but I have been in shock since 'the news'..... ok ok there's no excuse, i've been lame recently but I'm coming tonight to make an appearance... I know some of you miss me ;)

  • oooh, a lovely sort! Well, in all seriousness it's pearlescent white (perfect for those glittery HHSB moments) and that's about all there is to say about it. Has been ridden for about 2 miles before I remembered that bike slavery just isn't my thing and I really don't have the time to keep white bike parts! £15

Was thinking more of the brand name/model than the specific shade of white ;)

  • Stelle don't worry, they're a bit cumbersum (is that how to spell cum-ber-sum?), They would only be good if I could throw them on and go.... nae bother my lovely! See y'all a bit later :)

  • fake Selle Royale: Selle Royal. If you're looking for quality brand this ain't your buy! One for the hipsters. Sorry!

  • where are these beers then? Couldn't find in the last few pages.

  • its in the thread title

  • ha,

sorry pj, can't make it tonight
    was there sat though :)

  • PJ, did you want me to bring your bike bag tonight?

And clefty, are those ski poles still available? Will happily buy you a pint tonight if so.

  • right. Sorry waking and baking is never clever.

  • i think the odds on me coming down tonight are very slim.

i appear to have damaged my neck and shoulder, the same injury as when i got knocked off my bike by a courier. at present, i can't frickin' move.

so thank you for the goodwill, but if anyone was planning on making a pilgrimage for some dark epithets, you might want to rethink....

  • HTFU pj

Catch the Tube there. I will be.

  • i can't actually move right now. i am lying on my bed. i have taken dicloflenac, paracetamol and ibuleve. i am weak.

Bugger, wish you'd said that this morning before I left for work! They're at home
They're yours if you dont mind riding back to Colliers Wood after beers tonight to grab em (only 10 minutes away)

Stelly I might have those pursuit bars off you.

  • going to htfu and see what happens.

  • going to htfu and see what happens.

Thats so lame, chill out and HTFU.

  • i will be there.

  • may not make it, it appears some bandit is trying to empty my bank account by nicking the rest of my overdraft (it was pitiful enough already) so I have zero cash with no way of getting anymore. Unless the bank resolves this today (unlikely) those waiting for gold cable ends will have to wait longer I'm afraid.

  • I'll buy yer a pint if your names not hippy... :)

  • Cheers Bobobob.. that's nice to offer everyone a pint. :P

Check that "quote" button.. it's cheaper. :)

  • that's very kind! And hillbilly does owe me a burger......

NB: this is not an elaborate ruse to try and get a free pub trip! I am actually penniless. Well, whatever has happened (fraud, bank error, thievery - still in talks with the bank) has left me with £2.75 of my overdraft where there should have been £1,060 or so. Apparently a payment of £1,064 and some pence is due to come out today and I have no knowledge of it. The first I knew was when Tesco declined my card when I was buying ciggiefags, serves me right for smoking menthols. They're trying to investigate to see where it's going and who arranged it. Awaiting a phone call.

  • Something like this happened to me last month. Bank sent my rent off twice. Idiots.

  • I'm hoping it's an error that can be sorted easily. I can't lose that much money, I won't have a job for at least 3 weeks and even then it'll be part time until I finish my MA dissertation.

  • Well ciggie tax did go up..

  • Same situation here (MSc though). They just bumped my over draft up a grand and I left the extra money with my land lord for another month.

ooh, if it was a mistake that could be sorted out and refunded but would take a few days, then I could convince them to up my limit and I'd have more virtual money!

    no, actually BAD idea
