• sounds like a classic night. here's hoping the C&H continues to be welcoming

well done with the card clefty

  • Such an ace night! Sorry to chip early, but my body had gone into sleep deprivation shut down.. haha. Thanks so much for the jacket loan Bernie, I'd have been frozen & soaked otherwise!

Also, Steve said that there had been some kind of hold up, so he will still be there on Monday now! So give it a good turn out! (We'll be stuffing our faces with cream tea in Dorset... nomnomnomnom)

  • I think I'll put in (another) appearance tomorrow.

    I like this pub.

  • gutted i couldn't be there friday. had to be out of town for family occassion. hope to see steve and james in their new venture. and if drinking guinness can help them with that then will be sure to do so.

see some of you lot at the coach in the very near future.

clefty - loved the card. think that image might have been from the TdF stage we filled the upstairs room with back in 2010 (or was it 2009?).

lots of awesome memories of the coach - Steve and James are top fellas. wish them a lot of success

  • Is souths on then?

  • I would imagine so.

  • Not going to make it tonight, we're in dorset. But will raise a glass for Steve and James.

    H aave good night all.

  • It was on, but there were only a few of us and we left around 8:30

  • Just swung by there, no bikes and tables already on their sides.. .

  • Stock is running low. I think we're just helping drink the old stock before the handover, really.

  • It's like the locusts have been.

  • Jim was there on Friday, so all the Stowford is already gone.

  • He was necking the tramp juice like it was going out of fashion.

  • I'm in tonight, gonna be a lovely summers evening

  • In! for more tramp juice.

  • Out.

  • Why? Its been a long time since we've seen you Bruce, or I might have just been really drunk?

  • shinscar, diapo and myself popped in for a pint on saturday afternoon on the way back from our ride. was good to see the tweed picture of hoops and wibble still up. all new bar staff though.

  • Going to be a late-finishing day, here, Jim, after which I have to be the other side of London. Will surely make it to the next one.

  • In with MOR (man of radius). Herro everyone

  • Fair nuff Bruce, see you soon I hope?

Oh look, its that boy! Radius, will be good to see you young man.

  • In for tonight.

In other news ... has anybody got/know of any lfgss related plans for a trip out to Surrey to watch the mens olympic road race on Saturday?

  • .. has anybody got/know of any lfgss related plans for a trip out to Surrey to watch the mens olympic road race on Saturday?

On Saturday and Sunday the Road Race activity will be on a big screen in Bishops Park, Fulham, which is adjacent to the route out and back at Putney Bridge. 10.00 till 5.00. 'cycling activities' willl also be going on there apparently.

Second to a ticket in a grandstand it sounds like a good location for a herd of forumgers to congregate like cats.

I can't be there but, I'll be craning out of a window at work as they swoosh by.

  • In for later tonight,

But first I'm heading to Tooting Bec to catch Timothy Henman arrive with the Olympic torch from the All England Club.

  • Cheers Dropout, that sounds like a good option. You must be in the loop as I can't find any info about it on the internet. is the screen in the football ground or in the park? Additionally I've just realised that it passes through Richmond Park twice so may spend a lazy Saturday there.
