South London Beers: Reboot - Last Thursday of the Month at The Prince Regent, Herne Hill, SE24

Just attended my first ever souths beers after lurking for about 2 years on the forum and I must say that having been a long time lurker I was a bit nervous about throwing myself to the hounds, but they turned out to be lovely puppies, and thankfully none of them were killed. I know it sounds embarassing and gushy, but I bought a drink and asked if I could join them and I can honestly say what a brilliant bunch of people lurk in the Coach and Horses on a Monday evening. They were very welcoming and there was quality beers and quality chat, and no it was not all about gear ratios. Having lived locally for years it was really nice to meet some local bods with an interest in cycling so thank you all for being so nice and I will pop along and do it all again soon, if not every week. So having got the cringeworthy Gwyneth Paltrow Oscar speech out of the way I feel I need to tune back into the essence of the forum and so at this point I should, as I think the terminology round these parts goes, but please excuse me while I puke on my cock....is that right?, somehow that just sounds deeply wrong.....as you were nothing to see here.

Good to see some faces again, defintely going to keep popping up now that my commute have been cut from 120 miles a week to 2.5 miles, despite it being quiet tonight, it's easier for me to chat with others.
