  • Oh, I was referring to Coldplay. If I'd meant Radiohead, I would've said something about a descent into mock-prog indie tedium and shallow political posturing obscuring some quite good guitar playing.

    Sorry about the confusion ;)

PS. I've got a leaked copy of P-Funk's next long player, "Funkin' In Your Pink Deep V", and the 4th track i's a cover of Peter Andre's 'Insania'. I shit you not.

  • The world's gone mad...

I just went through Viccy Park on the way home, and after elbowing mournful faced twats out of the way, I noticed onthing. The TT course is pretty much shut off (traffic cones over the ped crossings at both ends), but that does give an almost perfect sprint course between roundabouts...

  • eh Lebowsk, hope you're not genuinely pissed off here - only joshin'. Well, not joshin' in terms of my opinion of Coldplay but joshin' about the dressing gown...I don't even own one. Nah, i'm only joshin' dude, would never have posted it if i thought someone as nice as you would be offended..:)

Sano seems to be saying there's still sport to be had tomorrow night...cue Chris screaming "Do A Skid" at every single concert goer walking by.

    hmmm.......

  • yeah sano is right...................

been up there tonight. we go lucky. absolutely perfect tt. v. little traffic. we might have to change the track slighlty. but it might be better. only one turn. we can call it the radiohead track. te he.................?

    c u all there.

  • @ object.

    yo dude..............

    you got the stopwatch ?

    c u there ?

  • oh and another thing........................

    for the newcomers.

dont be nervous about coming to join us.

east end meet is really friendly.

ask for somebody and of course we can have a chat and i will try and introduce you to some folks.

    come along its great fun......................

  • the new radio head track might be the best.

  • Did you have a couple of beers last night, Somebody?

    :p

  • where are we boozing

  • i have never been able to get my head round radiohead.

    always preferred pavement myself.

    anybody else like pavement ?

    Yes... Yes I do.
    Best. Band. Ever!

    The Fall anyone?
    Also the best band ever.

    (imho obviously)

So you admit they play good guitar ;)

I went to their concert last night and they served up a massive plate of awesomeness to the people in Victoria Park. They are true electro-rock gods.

PS. Would be very keen to hear that P-Funk EP. I think I heard one of the tracks already on the net. Is "Give up the drops (put risers on the sucker)" on there?

  • so is it going to be a nightmare at the royal inn tonight?

  • eh Lebowsk, hope you're not genuinely pissed off here - only joshin'.

Phil, I often worry that the internet is not the best place for someone as caring and sensitive as you.

Rest assured, as an experienced campaigner in this seedy world of internet forums, I am not taking any of BMMF's comments to heart. In fact, I don't even like Radiohead. My made up avatar 'Lebowski' rides fixed and likes Radiohead. I'm actually a 13 year old girl who is mad in love with McFly.

  • Can't make it for a sensible time tonight but Mr not Scott will be down with the stop watch. If I make it at all it'll be around 10.30

  • Hello, I was planning on beating the record tonight at the TT on my fast but ugly terry dolan bike, but i'm watching the footy instead and i'm skint. so i can't come like I promised. and i'm away next week. but i shall return. enjoyed it a lot last week.
ps i was the jaw-droppingly good looking yet softly spoken slightly shy man with the jaunty pink bike and the air of mystery

You betcha. My favourite tracks are the ballad "Un-numb My Parts", the jazz-infused "Mini-D, Mini-Me, Mini-She", and the extended plastic jam "I Got 22 Teeth On My Cog (But I Got A 12 For The Grind)"

  • BMMF i love your cover of barbie girl!!!

    YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

  • I can't see youtube links here, but I'm going to go out on a limb, and guess it's something to do with Seth Green.

    Fail.

    maybe!?! ;)

superb BMMF.. Lebowski I perceived genuine hurt in your typed voice over Coldplay and I felt bad.. if you are just 13 years old then you've got veeeery mature tastes in music, even if they are still limited to what's on radio 2. Though I'm afraid that while I am merely indifferent to Coldplay I would be happy to take anyone invoved in McFly's soaring success story and tie them up in a hemp sack. Then give it a good kicking.

  • And then throw it in the canal.

  • can't be bothered to read through the last few pages... where is the meet tonight? same usual?

  • I'll be there!

  • in that case next week whats going down... i'll be there. By then somebody (non forum) must owe me a beer.

  • am popping down, later on :)
