Gordon, do you know where to get the best curry in Whitechapel? Haven't had one here yet and the amount of curry places around here is ridiculous... I couldn't try them all if I had one a day for life...

Best Curry to be found at Tayyabs on Fieldgate street (go v early or v late to avoid the queues) or Lahore near the corner of Commercial Road (Not Street - important detail there) and Umberston Street. I've never been to Lahore but is apparently legendary. I might swing by there tonight.

Both Lahore and Tayyab's are good

Tayyabs is best, Lahore Kebeb House is nearly as good, Mirch Masala is up there too and much easier to get a table.
