Early enough. Around 6:30 I'd say.

If we're really thinking about changing venue, I'd vote for the Pembury Tavern, but I can't quite see why we should change venue--OK, there are some drawbacks there, but surely the outside area, proximity to the park, TT course, length of service, good beer selection, etc. are good enough to stay there?

It's only a matter of time before east drinks is banned, for venue shifting.

maybe we should make a proper complaint (while sober) to the head bar manager person?

This would be my suggestion as well. Make up a nice professional looking letter and all sign it or something like that.

No lets leave on mass and complain about it on here. Thats the LFGSS way.

This is far to semsibble, no threats of violence, to killing in the face or anything. Dark days

To be honest, I kind of like the Royal Inn. The food is expensive but I rarely order it. The couple of times I have, I've enjoyed it. Beer prices are a bit steep, but in a way it keeps me from staying too late and really tying one on. Although that's going pretty far out of the way to find a silver lining.
The service sucks sometimes, but I usually just make a point of saying "I believe I'm next" placing my order, and giving a hairy eyeball to whoever tried to jump in front.
I like the location and the outdoor area is great. I've never noticed the sewer smell so either I've been fortunate and missed those nights or it's been masked by the rather whiffy group of fixie-skidders congregating there.

A letter isn't going to make the drains not smell.
Better to make them realise the difference in their takings.I like the Pembury but it's on a busy junction and there is nowhere to park all the bikes.
I was thinking the Approach. We could do a tour and settle upon one.

What is this?
You've died so hard that you're trying to be Wests now? -

Wests wish they were us.

And given their piss poor treatment of EEI last week, I say we should fuck the Inn On The Park off for good.
I wouldn't want to be the one to spoil your fun, but I'm sure there must be few more interesting pubs around without being grimey locals for the bacon men.
The idea of tramp's beers - at least during the summer - is quite appealing, though.

I couldn't find Easts in London Fields after my meeting last night, so missed David and caps. Had a drink at the Ship first, then thought people must have gone down to the Royal Inn, where I bumped into Object, hillbilly, and Becca. Great to see you all! A later renewed explore of London Fields then made me find Easts and a lovely way to end the evening. Easts is sooooo dead. :)

I love the forum!
Spotted last night at the preview of the exhibition I'm in: Cake, Blue Quin, Clara, Photo Ben, two Owens and a whole bunch of other people who I was too drunk to remember the names of (sorry).
Thank you guys for turning out, it made an already great night even better!
Feel the forum love.
I've PM'd you my phone number should you have difficulty telling us apart from all the other people with bikes. We'll be in suspiciously new looking LFGSS caps :-)
anyone else need my digits, just PM me.
