Good to see some hardy souls braving the rain. PJs it's been too long.
Perhaps the dark, wet streets, and drunk was not the best time to use clipless pedals for the first time, but I didn't crash or fall over, woo! -

Good stage tonight, a mountain stage. Gus, I have a KOM jersey I may lend you on the Tarck day
ANYWAY, quite apart from the Tour of East London, East Beers has a NEW Time Trial Champion!
Following the classic 2-roundabout course (as opposed to the 1 pint course) I can now announce that LYNX has set a new record time of 1:44.7
The gauntlet has been well and truly laid down....

was a bit effin noisy though want it ?
-
• #3798
I think I have made worse noises than that :-)
Our arrival back at the Inn On The Park was truly heroic, with fireworks being let off, someone's fence catching fire, the fire brigade and police being called...
Then there was the cabbie who called us a pair of stupid cunts presumably because we had lights, were indicating clearly, were faster than him and inconvenienced him in no way. I'd hate to think what he would have called us had we been riding like nutters.
-
• #3799
Oh and as far as the next tour stage goes, I much prefer the treasure-cat style to high-speed (or in my case low speed) blasts. There's a chance that local knowledge may beat outright pace, so it mixes the field up a bit.

both those true dat.
Right, I reckon it's pub o clock.
