I think you should tell us which areas the Tour's going to cover so I can up my East London knowledge before next week and not get lost trying to get to every checkpoint this time.

Wouldn't you need something more like five weeks' advance warning?

i'll be coming on my own so is there anything i should look out for.. or bring?

If you're coming to the pub bring you and your bike and a cheery smile.
If you're doing the race, also bring an A-Z, a pen and some lights.

You'll spot all the bikes and forumengers easily.
