..great great night, turned into a proper knees up. Hael was sitting all quiet and civvy when I wandered in around 5pm - we had a lovely time waiting for the troops to roll up over the next three hours. Then it was just great. teenslain made an appearance, which was substantial, even though fiddy comes much further and most weeks... sorry for doing a quite drunk Alan Partridge "Dan" segment when JDSH rolled up, I was genuinely very pleased to see him..

easts was awesome tonight. we took that pub for ours.

To be fair to the pub staff, boys and girls, they treated us royally, with furniture changes, chips on cue, no askance glances, and smiles all round! As Gizzy said East is rocking, best one I can remember. And I missed the sleet nightcap. Nice to see Mr. T. make the effort, and Cream cake.

That was a great night - some good conversation as always, and really good to see some unfamiliar faces. There were only 9 people in the pub who weren't us lot. And 4 of them left.

it always helps the atmosphere when the barmaid smashes more glasses than the punters.
