i have just looked on the map and the royal inn on the park is in the middle of a kinda decent little time trial track circa 1 mile long, flat and fast.
It is a lovely evening. Anyone keen to try a few laps pre-beer, just so we can benchmark ourselves? I'll probably be there around 6.30pm, then into the pub at 7pm.

hillbilly won on a CHARGE PLUG?
you guys need to harden the fuck up, start representing. it wouldn't happen in the south, and hillbilly knows it.
-
• #190
Just goes to show you, it's the rider, not the bike...
Good to meet the people I haven't met before - next time I'll have a go at the time trial instead of drinking my body weight in Guiness

Hey PJ, just because because my Plug weighs in at over 21lbs! Doesnt mean it cant move like the wind. I think it was down to gearing anyhow.
But we should start a circuit in the south. Twould be much fun.

See you at Trinity Arms -

That was a good one. It's only gonna get better. :) i was a bit trashed when I got back, had to sit up and read Richard's Bicycle book for an hour to sober up before going to bed. My lady tells me I also did some late night tinkering with my claud butler... jeez drunken maintainence has gotta be a bad idea.
Excellent to meet some people new to me. I was the one with tourettes and glasses, wearing a big condom.
My other bike is shit.

Yeah, nice one all. I think East end beers could have some serious traction, especially as we come into summer.
And that was a sweet little TT circuit, Phil, very nice find. I might have to do a few sneaky circuits in the early hours of the morning in order to find the right line coming into those roundabouts. I'll be looking to shave 15 seconds off my next run ;)

Was a decision made re: fortnightly or weekly? I can't remember. Too caught up in learning about NHS dentists.

hillbilly the new face of charge?
-
• #198
Sorry I missed last night, day out with my 6 year old went on far to long.
Which route was used round VP? -
• #199
Thepark was all locked up, so it was a there and back along Grove road. So start outside Royal Inn, around the roundabout at Old Ford rd, down to the roundabout at Victoria Park rd, then back to the Royal Inn.
Good little course.
