that's the image summing up this morning on the way to work.
image of 2 broken teeth (and dented ego) missing...
could have been worse.

looks like someone ran into the back of a bus/taxi/van?!? even with 2 brakes. or maybe the bike didn't like being painted green with pink bits.

Well, a Renault Espace in front of me braked and I braked too, but not enough apparently so I smashed right into it. Saw it coming and knew it wasn't going to be good.
'Funny' thing is that the car right behind me was a plain police car (no markings)... luckily I was on my singlespeed with 2 brakes instead of my front-brake-only-fixie which is of course not road legal (must have 2 brakes over here).
Oh well, shit happens... could have been so much worse.

it is legal- two brakes = fixed wheel + front brake.

police were okay, called an ambulance and later had me doing an alcohol test ;)

thanks, but i've still got that beautiful red&white moser fixie, a so-so bad-weather-singlespeed and a specialized geared bike... enough bikes. this frame's going on my wall ;)
