Has anyone on here who owns a Saris H3 ever been faced with the red light of doom? Messed up the firmware upgrade process this morning through the Saris app (So shit...) by locking my phone while it was doing it and now the light is still and red and I can't connect to the trainer. Didn't seem to find much online so reached out to their support team as well.

Any interest in a Wahoo Kickr V1? Currently sit unused since my road bike got pinched and unsure when I will realistically be back on it. Unless mistaken £250 seems to be market value. E2 based

Has anyone got any tips for setting up 12mm thru axles on the tacx neo 2? I’ve just fitted an xdr cassette body without too much difficulty, but I can’t get the frame to sit correctly. The frame either rattles left to right or I can tighten up the qr adapter that frighteningly makes the stays flex outwards a warranty ending amount. Some people have suggested that I need the neo 2T assembly kit (S2875.01), after moving a few times, I’ve definitely lost it, and it’s not for sale anywhere! And suggestions welcome

Thanks, seems to be working now.

I contacted Garmin and they sent me the TA kit for free. I'm assuming you're missing a spacer in the setup somewhere.

Thanks for the advice. Missing the spacers and the adapters for 142 DS and NDS. I originally set it up for 135 QR and lost the other bits - probably in a lockdown induced feverdream

I got mine off here and noticed the brake caliper rubbing on the body. Known issue that Garmin sort with free spacer kit. Maybe mention caliper rubbing and see if they send it out to you.

So the fun continues with garmin. I gave them my serial number and they advise that it’s definitely a neo 2 and I need this. But obviously it doesn’t actually fit. Another call to support reveals I have the neo 2 ‘special edition’ which has the 12m axle but not the other updates on the 2T. Confusingly the special edition is ‘QR only’ so you can’t buy the S.2875.01 adapters….. f@@@ing garmin 😡

I finally unpacked mine the other day but haven't installed it. Step by step.
Pretty sure it didn't look like that but it did have a skewer and a bunch of different spacers and washers. -

I was encouraged to buy that adapter set too. While a treaded axle end part is ok the central axle end caps can’t be screwed on as they are the wrong thread

Progress on the tacx neo saga. After much research I have found a specialist that makes replacement parts! https://www.reaxle.com/

Bought a Zwift trainer with 11sp cassette (SunRace), and can't shift to smaller cog, like, at all. Tension removed from cable, derailleur screws set to the point it won't go outwards anymore. Any tips?
Edit: bike has Ultegra 11sp kit

Are the spacers on the trainer correct? Sounds like you need a bigger spacer on the drive side to move the derailleur away from the cassette.

Makes a lot of sense, but I don't think there was a spacer in the kit. Will check again.
Worst case scenario I just use it without top gear, who am I kidding anyway.

Does anyone here have / has anyone used the Wahoo Kickr Steer?
Basically a fancy mount for your phone that allows you to tilt it, and use it to steer in Wahoo RGT.
It looks like fun (compared to any turbo training, which is NotFun™), but is it £90 fun?

Just use TrainerRoad and binge watch Netflix

Seems like a complete waste of money to me. You will just drop sweat onto your phone screen and I think there are more fun things you can do other that moving your avatar left and right a bit.

I think I was filterless window shopping. In retrospect, yes, it's a ridiculous way to spend £80.

I find it difficult to focus on both breathing out my arse, and taking in anything that is happening on screen.
The sufferfest type stuff on Wahoo Systm seems to hit a sweet spot of just enough visual to take the edge off the training, without needing much focus itself.

the brake caliper rubbing on the body.
Was this, by any chance, a combination of a Neo 2 and a Mason Definition?
(I'm aware it's a widespread issue. I'm just curious if this specific combo is also known to be problematic)

I think it happens on the Tripster and my Resolution. It's more of a flat mount caliper issue. I have the fix kit for it but I've not installed it. Using the Wahoo at the moment.

Noted, thanks.

Anyone have the Tacx Neo leg things? Worth it?
Have you checked your Garmin Connect settings?
