Turbo Trainer Advice

It’s really fiddly as the nut moves within a channel, I pulled the two parts close together, oriented the nut using chopsticks and screwed back in (on my tacx bushido)

No, the nut is what is holding the tensioner knob in place.

What's the best way to get thru-axle bikes on a Computrainer? I'm guessing the 142mm back-end won't actually fit but if it does is there a non-£50 adapter that will work with it?

do rollers wear out your tires in the same way a turbo does?

Wahoo Core vs Kickr any reason not to use the difference between them towards a power meter?
Anything else worth looking at for thru axle?

Question about Tacx Flux...
On TTS 4 software there is no concept of power zones. When you create your workout you say 4 mins at 200 watts and that’s how the turbo is adjusted.
If I use garmin Connect to create the workout I can say the Target is zone 3 power for 3 mins for example. What would my Garmin 820 send to the Flux as the resistance setting? The bottom or top of power zone 3 for me or provided I was in the zone it would be happy? Or does it set little resistance and let me use the gears and cadence to get into the zone?

Dredge alert: how is the pod? I need to buy a new hrm and decathlon do a pod+strap for < than garmin pod +strap.

My turbo (9y.o Tacx Sirius) is fucking noisy too, I think due to the same reason.

Well what I do is simply not use it and do more running instead (how are the Achilles btw?). Much cheaper. I figure that if I ever want to use a turbo again I'll just buy a cheap £50 Lifeline one...
