606
i have the road sylvans and they ain't that great.
What problem do you have with them?
don't get me wrong they work and haven't broken, but they just have a fair bit of play in them, the bearings are unsealed and the design is archaic to say the least (like most of the stuff on my bike i admit). i wish i'd bought the track version with the black cagey bits. they were fairly cheap, but when you look at the quality of something like a DMR V8 mountain bike pedal it makes me wonder why there aren't more options. Give it a year or two and there will be i suppose.
Question- the underside of the sylvan road is not comfortable to ride on because it's 'lumpy' (and it's not designed to be). is the track version flat on both sides?

oh yeah and the holes in them aren't big enough for most toe straps.

One minor problem known with these is a tendency for the 'flip tab' to snap off, making it a little difficult to get into them.

I agree. It's happened on two different sets of these pedals on two different bikes. both happened after 4/5 months use... I;d recommend spend a bit more than the ~£20 for these and get something of better quality.

Hasn't happened to me, but as I said, they only get occasional use.

happened to mine last week
sylvans are awesome, the ones on my polo bike have been battered, but are still silky smooth.
