Stupidity is not a trend it's genetic.
To which, hopefully, the Darwenian laws might be a remedy... hopefully...

As an occasional eBay seller, I hate this: 'Lo pro, Fixed Gear, Track, Fixie, Custom..'
How come?
-
• #8130
It doesn't correctly describe what it is. Rather, it's a collection of words designed to rope in hipsters/idiots looking for a 'fixie'. FFS.

Is this bar angle the new trendy stuff, hipsteresque thing now? the banana-bike also boasted similar angle.
Clever stuff really.
You want the ramps to give the MTB bar-end type hand position the old nodder mobile had.
Sorted.
Wait, I can no longer reach into the bends. I'll drop the saddle right down to get my fore arms past the tops.
Sorted.
Its all just evolution.

Those team radioshack treks are utter gash.
When sponsors are left to design paint-jobs...

Yeah, I do this whenever I put anything on ebay. Unless it's a freewheel or a shifter or something directly gear related. I wanna sell my stuff for as much as possible and all the fixie hipsters would appear to be loaded.
Putting track when it's not is a bit naughty tho.

He should have traded it with someone a bit more appretiative of the tacky awesomeness that was the late 80ies. Another puppy down. -

Would've done the same.
But kept all the chrome.

EDIT: although i would have some clipless pedals, but thats personal preferance

Nah, I'd have permed it and put it in the shoulder pads it so richly deserves.

I know where are you coming from (and so is Chris), but it's more than just a simple respray.
It's bit like buying a naked titanium frame and covering it completely with stickers or stripping a vintage funky coloured one saddle etc. -

He didnt like the paintjob, so he changed it. -
• #8146
So he did.

Not much would need to be changed on that to make it nice.
Change front wheel to match the rear (or at least have a white wheel), de-sticker rear wheel.
That's it.

• #8149
red white and baby blue as a colour scheme?

• #8150
Sure. But only if you actually are the"illest"
