Meh, why not. Tell your mate he could probably sell those wheels for a tidy sum.
...Or tell him to sell the whole fucking bike and buy a hybrid, or similar bike, that could actually take a pannier rack.

Is that a pink brake??? And what is that silly mess of a handlebar?
-
• #5360
The brake is camo/stealth it kinda matches the fork, that allows to create the illusion of riding brakeless without the hassle of actually doing so! Awesome

Get it away from me

I'm hoping he was joking about the pannier rack. He's using it to commute into town and it does go like the clappers but it's pretty unstable when you're riding it - that and your arse is in air with your nose on the ground. I shall put the idea to flog the wheels to him

that and your arse is in air with your nose on the ground.
If you extrapolate the bars to a normal drop bar bend, you'll see that the saddle-to-bar drop is only about 100mm, which is hardly an "arse is in air" position, although the effective 200mm stem might make it steer a bit funny compared with a road bike

tell him to sell every bit of the bike and he'll have enough for a Condor Pista to commute everyday in with comfort.

bootifull

Fucking stupid. negates the point of having a lo pro. Clearly too small for the rider.
Could somebody please educate me: what is a "lo pro"?

Could somebody please educate me: what is a "lo pro"?
A bicycle designed to replicate the riding position of a road racing cycle when ridden with the hands in the dropped position, the said replication of position being achieved with a handlebar fixed to the cycle at the bottom of the bar with the grip portion rising from the cross member, in contradistinction to the classic drop bar where the grip portion descends from the cross member.
Depending on the frame size and rider position, this may require one or more of the following adjustments to the cycle frame design:
1: Shortened head tube
2: Sloping top tube lower at the head tube than at the seat tube
3: Reduced size front wheel
4: Attachment of the handlebar to the fork assembly below the lower headset bearing
Fair enough. I'm going to buy it off him though I think anyway.
