Not Treks finest moment...
Bosch-equiped eHybrid with fat tires, hydraulic disc brakes, full fenders, and a Nuvinci hub? This is literally the future.

This is the standard for e-bikes:
Seems more like it's the standard for out-of-shape freds who want to hide the fact that they need e-assist to keep up with their slightly-less-out-of-shape fred friends on weekend rides.

It's only a cheap children's bike, but pretty awful nonetheless
Could a child even reach those levers?

What is that monstrous seatpost? Why not just get a proper-sized bike instead of all that layback, and why would anyone ever need a QR saddle clamp?
-
• #42634
It's for bike fittings (I think). easily adjustable and with a lot of range. Used to find out what size you actually need maybe :)

That's quite a jump on the cassette

With only 5 or 6 cogs that's pretty standard if you need the range.

It's for bike fittings (I think).
You think wrong. It (SR MTE-100) was invented for MTBs back in the olden days, usually used in conjunction with the equally Heath Robinsonesque Hite Rite dropper doodad to let you adjust the saddle from high/forward for climbing to low/rearward for descending.

I used to somewhat obsessively read MBAction in the late 80s and never saw the Hite Rite pictured with that post. Maybe more common in the UK?

@Jalopy-Véloist appears to be a .50 cal Barrett rifle lurking behind the Bianchi, is it in America ?

Sad times for Pengy.

Pengy
You made me go back to the source, 9 years and 1700 pages ago. What I hadn't spotted until now was the one touch which still makes Pengy an heroic work of anti-porn - the man actually put a Chris King headset on it. The eventual outcome of Pengy would not represent nemesis if it wasn't preceded by the hubris of selecting the most expensive and, at the time, pre-eminent headset.

A weapon in a literal sense, the paint looks like blood and are those doll parts in that cage? Don't know about the anti designation though.
It's quite funny tho, the way it's sort of perched on his head
