tbh, fairly sure thats genuine

Well, you might be right, except for the fork, the rear triangle including the track ends.
Oh and the seat post mounting position, the bottom part of the seat tube (where the rear tire should come a bit inside of the frame so to speak, the top tube, the down tube, the head tube, the location of the super pista logo, the size and font of the Bianchi logo and the position of the bottom bracket.I'm seeing some slight differences XD

Fairly sure it's a genuine Bianchi Super Vispa? :-)

This, on the other hand, is definitely a genuine classic first post by a noob in the porn thread.

Here's a little slice of anti spotted on road.cc:

• #37834

• #37835
Plaid socks and cycling shoes huh
Also, wtf is that chain
-
• #37836
wtf is that chain
Shimano CN-NX01, made for cruiser/beach bikes and hour record bikes.
-
• #37837
Huh. Ugly but effective then.
-
• #37838
Good job jade isn't "on ere"
-
• #37839
Ugly but effective
That's a bit harsh.
Oh, you mean the chain. Well, sponsorship was the only reason that chain was on the Storey bike. Shimano don't actually make a track chain, so it would be a toss up between NX01 cruiser chain and NX10 shopping bike chain, with the final decision coming down to which was nearest to hand. I doubt whether Shimano even makes them, their cheap chains are outsourced to KMC, who do actually make a good track chain. Perhaps if Shimano sponsored track athletes are going to be forced to toe the line, Shimano should get a batch of custom X101s with DuraAce logos stamped on the plates :-)

The sky is crying on your bike:

Nope, Sky are too busy crying over Richie Porte.

• #37843
Meowww.

• #37844
Does deliberately anti-ing your bike make it less stealable, do you reckon? I've made the decision that it does for my commuter.
-
• #37845
Depends though.
There are really two forms of anti:
Flashy anti
This is usually spotted by presence of spoks, gold components and any blb wheels. Generally baosted loud expensive tasteless parts.Subdued anti
This is really reliant on general poor setup of components as the components used are just average. Examples are stupid seat angles and spacer stack. -
• #37846
Highly doubt the type of bikes generally being posted in here are any less attractive to the average tea leaf than the type of bikes posted in the hhsb or bike porn threads.
Ratting your bike up might have more of an effect.
-
• #37847
Hmm, yeah mine's kinda flashy rat I guess. Hideous yellow alu frame covered in crap stickers, stupid blue chain, horrible bar tape that looks like it's coming unravelled.
-
• #37848
Another trick I heard, if you've bottle cages, leave dirty looking water in crappy bottles in them for extra Yuck factor.
And some tape to pretend saddle is torn.

It is sad that you have to dress down to go to the shops.

It's the equivalent of going to buy milk in your pyjamas.
