Pretty much ready to unsubscribe from reddit.com/r/fixedgearbicycle
Someone posted that rad converted Cervelo P2 that someone on here built, and it got absolutely slated, but then someone puts a nice paintjob on a gas pipe conversion and they can't get enough of it.
your kinda whip Edward?
Not even that, it's just a moderately shit old mtb.

It's a common as murk MTB you see around small town in the UK, obviously not porn but hardly anti compared to some of the bicycle on here.

Did no one tell them to align the valves with the tyre logos, or have the crank arm roatated into a more aesthetically pleasing position for the photo?
Nice bartape though.
I knew I forgot something when pulling my tubulars back on...
...you're glad you get them f**kers on, let alone align with the valve.

Tubulars automatically line up with the valve, and that front wheel is not a tubular.

and the rear is a clincher as well

Ah you're right. I was too busy figuring out how to glue my tubs to notice that...
PS I noticed people in project threads are quite polite. Is there interest in a "finishing touches" thread where you get really harped over the small details once the big work is done? I know my Ciocc needs other tape for example but nobody pointed it out.

• #30866
That's it in it's locked mode I'm guessing due to the bar in the saddle locking the rear wheel, I suppose it pivots up to be sat upon like a normal bike

Rad P2 is Rusty of this parish's whip. Converted following an accident, though I think it has since seen some attempted theft damage.
