I'm sure fatty is a repost.
Nice to see that Mr Sears is riding brakeless fixed with no foot retention.

i really couldn't decide between porn or anti.

Replace the rear wheel with a larger one and we have a winner.

Clearly a piss take seeing as how the bottom of the fork legs are simply resting on the front axle and the front heel is in no way attached.
-
• #3087
Innit. Foolish for falling for that.
I'd bet me Nana's pension there's a set of DeeMax round the corner

wow, get some suitable wheels on that and that is a an absolute peach of a bike. such DH 'rigs' were the bike porn of my teenage years.

Piss take, or a test shot to make sure he likes the look before committing to making adaptors to fit the hub to the fork? I think it's anti, but there's a big Latino Low Rider culture which would disagree

Nope, anyone who rides DH clipped in is pretty serious.

Shit! My first build was a Sears and Roebuck, Free Spirit with 531 tubing... £20 off ebay. Please tell me it isn't abp! I still ride it to work sometimes but it now has a 700c chrome fork to help reduce the huge space between the frame and the front wheel.

countless puppies. Im speechless. How could you do it ?

Dylan, if that's directed at me... the frame was covered in surface rust and the components knackered. The previous owner was gonna bin it if it didn't sell on the bay. Anyway, are S&R bikes any good? I couldn't find any history on them.

no idea actually :) looks nice though the bike that is.

Cheers! I know the geomotry is slack but I thought it was a decent first fixie. Not too expensive and got me hooked! :o)

I wouldn't worry too much about what ppl think of your bike. You should see some of the shit I ride.
I've not heard of S&R but a bike repurposed (rather than being binned) is a good thing in my book. Ideally I'd like roadbikes to stay as roadbikes and so on but more bikes being used by more ppl is a good thing regardless what you decide to do to it.
Even if you do see fit to paint it pink! :)
I am amazed Fatty has only just made it on here. My sides have been aching since August last year when I idly clikced on that FGG link...
But no, I ain't messin with the dude neither.
