Not really anti to me, looks like a nice commuter.

I'd say that's more of a TT setup (gearing?) but for the thread's sake: wrong levers for bars, mismatched saddle, red cables, blue valve caps, gold (Bontrager?) tube/valves, mismatched hub colours etc etc

just looks like a fixed tt rig to me, much like laners.
very tasteful imo

Obvious parts bin TT beater, seems harsh to criticise.

I like it as well. Not anti just set up for the riders comfort. Not trying to be anything it isn't.

i'd rather have it than the "aston martin" (unless i was allowed to sell it on of course!)

Is that a globe?

I think this bike is culturally acceptable i like it's nirvana feel, it is clearly a hindu/buddha bike. canre not yoda strong in the force is!

Its actually mine, I figured the same rules as porn don't apply here...
I spent £48 on the whole build, the tubes are Michelin latex and a lot of things that don't match/look bad are bought just cause they cost next to nothing so I can still time trial until i receive my new bike! -

Apart from the obvious aesthetic anti with the wheels and the front disc being potato chopped to the drive side for the photo (probably), and that horrific tripple clamp fork. For me the bike just doesn't fit with the Ason Martin brand. The cars have beautiful subtle lines yet somehow have a quite a masculine stance on the road. This heap is just a lesson in aggressive Carbon Fibre. If I didn't know it was 'made' by Aston I would guess at someone like Pagani or Lamborghini.

It's just a rebranded Factor 001. Must be just a promo opportunity - doesn't look like Aston Martin had any input or tweaked much other than the livery.
Website below if you're interested. I liked and hated the original in equal measures. Great concept but ridiculously over-engineered and over priced. I'm think a full SRM setup would give you similar training information for a 10th of the price but I might be wrong...

"Has 26" MAG wheels one white and the other dark blue metalic, the rear wheel is a flip flop kind which is unavailable now. However only has the fixed cog fitted, and no brakes.** True fixie style**."

• #24723
Holy shit that's a full 0.96 on the pengy scale.

sad thing is that looks like not a bad quality paint job, not my taste, but looks like its in a proper paint shop

What I don't understand is why do they make it with such enormous clearances. surely its just as easy to make it with slightly tighter clearances no??? Just a matter of changing a few angles and tube lengths
yeah just a matter of changing a few angles and tube lengths, fuck geometry, heck, why don' they ONLY make colour matching parts then we'd have one less thing to think about when making up our sweet fixies!
I think they're both on back to front. It's rather counter-intuitive, but if you're going to use untensioned spokes which are tangential to the hub, it's usually better to have them pushing rather than pulling. Look at any brake rotor (including the one on that bike) and you'll see that they run that way round. The reason is that the load then tends to stretch the rim rather than contract it, making it less likely to buckle.
