  • Some people just like flat bars better. The choice of bars looks to be crabon/light stuff.

    That I quite agree, I seen an 70 years old man in the Lake District riding what appear to be a Planet X carbon bike with flat bar.

    But at the same time, I can't help but think it would be suitable to buy a carbon hybrid, like this Sirrus whose frame look similar to their Roubaix model;

  • All that luggage and no rear pannier.
    Front rack doesn't seem to be holding any load.

    Touring fail.

    Hardly any luggage really, most of that would fit into a large rucksack. Great for a few days away

  • I still feel DFP point still stand, if set-up well, you still can keep up with other roadie...

    ...till there's a break in the group and end up having a big gap between you and the rider in front of you.
