The Cannondale Dutchess were a much much better concept despite the lack of front basket/rack.

Give that to a competent engineer to tweak for production and you end up with a Boris Bike.

Shaft drive, a decent enough sealed system. Coupled with drum brakes. Not something that I would choose to use but good for a Boris as Tester says. The thing they're both missing is decent lights

The info also says it's the builders 'personal track bike'..... I guess he only rides at the make believe track that allows bikes with impaling devices brazed onto the fork.
