  • a taller HT is probably stiffer than a 120mm silly ugly rise stem.

Maths or it didn't happen. My money is on the short HT/long stem being stiffer for any given total mass.

  • But minor weight increments on the track hardly matters. It's all about power delivery, like those old Corimas, heavier than a classic steel frame but so much stiffer

  • ^ Christ...

  • Nabiis/Alchemy

Thanks. Don't know why I asked though cause I think it's a really ugly frame.. Must have not had time to look at it properly at work while the boss wasn't looking.

  • ^^^ Why's it in here? It's quite unremarkable, which makes a change for bikes with a car manufacturers name on it. They're usually trying to make new innovations which end up an absolute abomination

  • it has range rover written on it

  • There is that.

Yes, but the short HT is stiffer (well, my money is on that), it's an incidental benefit that it also happens to be lighter.

  • Ah well, this discussion is pretty pointless without facts and diagrams. Would be pretty nice to find out.

  • it has range rover written on it

    Lol

  • Oh for the love of........

    Total joke.

  • Looks like standard ENVE livery..

  • 14 bike co 14R blurb

At least they spent some time coming up with an original logo

  • Shame no drive side, but still ultimate urban steed....

  • repost but still terrible!

  • enough already of that fucking ridely!

  • That is so wonderful. That's an integrated seatmast that's been cut almost to nothing.

So not only is it a hilarious subversion of the aero nature of the bike, but it is ruined for any future buyer (unless they have titchy legs and a long torso).

    That is actually brilliant.

  • And flat pedals as well!! omg i just came

  • Ahhh my first crankset riding fixed (cotter pin all the way) served 5 months of polo, skids and endured the harsh reality of its plump owner, it finally broke at polo 8 miles from home, thank god that I had cable ties on me at the time. Now I think it must be laid to rest in its rightful place...

I can confirm that this doesnt work. Happened to me on the tweed run this year. Butters and Trulli pushed me all the way from hyde park where it happened to the kings road.
Fixed it with 20 zip ties. went to ride off and my awesome lep power sheared straight through all of them....

I'm pretty sure there's a cure for that these days.

  • it's not a cotter pin crank either

  • Maybe he meant swaged?

  • I'll be getting one of those 14R's soon, it shall most certainly not be anti

  • We'll be the judges of that

    Did you get the memo...?
