Visp's can easily look good, just seem to have a bad taste lurgy that infects most of the owners

The only thing I disliked with your visp was all the carbon bits, didn't think they suited the stickered up frame.

I've had to fit a shitty mudguard to mine, the dry arse and bag finally prevailed.

the frame, forks, bb and headset cost me €230 including shipping.
I don't want to think how much I've spent on the whole build though because I've put new forks and headset and stuff on. Not to mention the £200 I spent on Sugino 75 cranks + chainring.

but really, what a shame.

I was never a fan of those fluoro-fade paint jobs even back in the day when they were fashionable, but it still didn't deserve that.

What, obviously it's anti to the core, at least in the sense it prevails in here. But it's far from being 'repulsive' or 'disgusting', or whatever. Just put the right size front wheel in to make it rideable (nothing to do with 'raceable', of course) and it's a nice ride for strolling around town on a sunny afternoon. Doesn't even smack of hipster so much, imho. There, I said it. Oh yeah, only the stickers on rims are annoying.
