Explain to me exactly 'why it had to be done'? Seem like a perfectly reasonable OTP/winter bike

? not been a problem so far in terms of standover - I'm over 6'2 myself, i have my saddle a little lower than ideal due to a medical issue.
Anyway, how often do you actually need to touch the ground with your feet?

im just being a pedant. Glad you got rid of the white tyres and non-matching wheels. Pedals might be useful though.
-
• #13015
Yeah originally I built it up in a great hurry buying things on a whim without thinking. Using FGG as inspiration not advised. Got bored of the white tyres pretty quickly but thought I should use them till at least one wore out. Much cleaner look now i think. Yes pedals would be useful, I share SPDs between this and my road bike tho which is where they were at the time.

Doesn't seem to be the case, if you look at the pic with the race wheels in.
